Paul Warren is originally from Bowdon, Georgia. Throughout the 80s and 90s he was musically influenced by Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore, Steve Vai as well as bands such as Queen, Rush, Yes, Dream Theater, Queensryche, and the Police. 

Much of his playing influences come from Andy Wood, Ron Bumblefoot Thal, Andy Timmons, Dream Theater, Symphony X and Meshuggah.

Teaching music has been a huge part of his music career.  In 2002, he founded the Raleigh Music Academy in Raleigh, NC. While running the Raleigh Music Academy, he had the opportunity to work with fantastic artists such as John Petrucci, Paul Gilbert, Guthrie Govan, Mattias Eklundh, Ron Thal, Andy Wood, Jennifer Batten, Greg Howe, Chris Poland, Vinnie Moore, Andy Timmons, Tom Quayle and Doyle Dykes. He also did some touring and shows as the rhythm guitarist for Andy Wood and Ron Thal.

He also writes and records jingles, records voiceovers, creates unique music for corporate videos and produces local artists.
